If you have a business, but don’t have a website, you probably don’t know about Responsive web design and what it can do for you.
There are Plent-o-website designers out there on the Internet. Some are good, where others… not so much.
I’d like to provide you business owners with what we think makes a good website, let’s try to have it work for all users to start.
Most small business owners looking for a web designer don’t ask all the important questions about what kind of website they’re going to get, right? Here’s why… a business owner has a lot on their plate. Most know they just need a website. And, some people just assume “a website is a website, right?” Not even close. A car is a car, right? How about if I compare houses? Most of us know there are differences in all things in life, so why do we lump all website designers together as the same? I can tell you from experience, the majority of us don’t understand or want to understand the differences in Web Design. It’s not something most of us research for fun unless you’re a computer geek or someone working in the industry or in marketing.
If you have a business and don’t have a website, you probably don’t think a lot about how a website works on a desktop, tablet or smartphone. Responsive Web Design is not new. It has been around since 2010. Some web designers create only responsive websites, and others just design responsive when the customer requests a website that’ll work on their mobile because that is what they’ve heard will help them in Google. The fact is, yes, it will help you in Google but it will also do a lot more for your visitors.
Shouldn’t we be thinking about the people instead of the search engines? We think so!
Ideal HTML Web Design makes responsive websites for one reason, the end user. We care about website visitors and how they interact with the website. If the customer doesn’t see the website content because it isn’t viewable on a smart phone, then we didn’t do our job right!
